With Romo out, Orton is starting for the Cowboys against the Eagles next week. The game will decide the NFC East champion and which of them makes the playoffs.

Remember that last year in Denver? With Orton starting, Broncos 1-4. With Tebow starting, Broncos not only made the playoffs, but won the wildcard round against the Steelers.

Orton is the one NFL QB Tebow has shown himself to be clearly more effective than.

If the Cowboys want to make the playoffs, they should sign Tebow ASAP! :yahoo:

Garrett still saying "day to day".

If Romo is out and Orton wins this elimination game ....

all hell would break loose in Dallas.

Orton >Romo > Tebow

In terms of chances of winning this game.

Yeah, let's have Jerrah sign Tebow, then just take down the roof, put up a big top tent, get the clowns, acrobats and elephants out and make the Cowboys a real circus. :L

He might be ok on special teams, but no Bill Bates, to be sure.

9-7? That's not even special.

Broncos were 8-8 in 2011.

Good thing they played in a lolbad AFC West that year.

Didn't Kyle Orton (backup with Chiefs) beat the Broncos (led by Tebow) in the last game of the season in 2011?

This thread is a joke and not accurate.

9-7 was His record as a starter including the playoffs.

Ha, as a Cowboys fan I say go for it… it couldn't hurt but I don't think it will change the results we all know what is going to happen. If that same offense that played the Bears shows up against our defense… I wouldn't be shocked if the Boys gave up 60 points.

Denver sure thought so.

Tebow and Orton were on the same Denver team, and Tebow was made the starter to replace Orton because Orton wasn't getting the job done, while Tebow did.

There is a reason why Tim Tebow isn't playing in the NFL at this time. It is because he STINKS.
You Tebow fans just refuse to believe how hideous he actually is - but if the Cowboys wish to sign him - I'm all for it.

Let's go Eagles.

Wait. You mean the Tebow that can berly throw a accurate pass 5 yards from the line of scrimage Tebow? Why not break good ole Ryan Leaf out of prison and give him a shot. Hell. Why not even dig up Bud Schwenk and give him a try to. Since Tim Tebow is a running qb let's finally give Al Bundy his chance. Screw it. Let's give everybody a chance. Cripples line up over here, women over there.

Unfortunately, there are a few misguided souls who believe that just because Tebow prayed while he was making good plays, that he is a good NFL quarterback.
One has NOTHING to do with the other. As an NFL QB, he STINKS.
