A few years ago I run to make that deal. Quinn seems to have dropped off to me lately so I guess it depends on the deal and what he cost us in terms of whatever we need to give back to them and how much of his salary we pay. I think he can help us but he is not the player I once thought he was.

That's exactly the way I'm looking at him. When the Dolphins traded Tannehill to Tennessee they ate 5M of his salary so if they would eat 5M of Quinn's 11.8M it might be workable for the Cowboys

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports free agent S Eric Berry will visit the Cowboys Tuesday.
It's Berry's first visit since initially being released by the Chiefs. Still only 30, the three-time All-Pro makes for the perfect fit for Dallas after the team missed out on landing current Ravens S Earl Thomas in free agency. The only downside to signing Berry is his all-to-obvious injury history that's limited him to just three regular season games over the last two seasons. He would be a game-changer in the back of Dallas' secondary.

Cowboys look like they are trying to fill their needs in FA so they can go BPA in draft. I really like it

Meh, could be smoke screen to appease fans and then say he was too much. This guy is a walking injury and you can't give him a huge contract. Now if they get him for cheap I go from a little hard to messing up my pants a little...

If we sign Berry or another safety and a DE we absolutely don't have to worry about position and can just pick the shiniest ornament left on the tree each round...Wouldn't mind doing a one year deal on Berry and similar at DE. No long term cap commitment but fill out the roster for this year. Would be a perfect way to go into the draft IMO
