Berry would probably make almost as many plays from the sidelines as Heath made vs the Rams when he was on the field. If he pulled a Mike Tomlin and stepped on the field during a play, then he would make one more than Heath did in that playoff game.

If berry passes a physical then sign him to a cheap prove it deal with incentives. The guy certainly has bad luck missing almost 4 out of 9 seasons. The two bad injuries were the ACL which he came back from and played at an all pro level,and the Achilles which I am not sure he has recovered from. I really cant blame him for missing most of another season because of cancer. That heel has to be a concern. Those 4 or 5 full seasons he did play he were mpressive. We sign him and get one of those all-pro seasons this defense will be way better. I hope he is healed and signs with the cowboys tomorrow.

Malik McDowell DL to visit

I am not sure what the story is with McDowell. Never cleared to play by Seahawks. Possible brain trauma? The kid kind of reminds me of Irving with his play on the field at Michigan State. I wonder if he smokes weed? If anything a possible new toy for Marinelli if the team doctors think he can play. Seahawks picked him #35. Lots of potential if he is cleared to play

Kicking the can down the road. It will catch them sooner rather than later. Same as it caught Dallas when they were forced to let DWare walk.

I'm not so sure I agree. He is a backup for them. I'm not sure what they paid him. If only a couple million per year, then I agree it's a nice add because I think he is a good player, but if they paid him anything above that it is not a wise use of their limited cap dollars. For us he would have been a good signing because he would have started over Heath.

I think the Eagles biggest weakness is their dropoff in talent after the starters. Therefore I see this as a good move for them. You do have a point on the amount though and I'm basing my thought on the 1 year signing only without the $ involved.

Agreed. A Day 3 pick is appropriate from where I sit. He would definitely help with both Gregory out and Taco not meeting expectations.

Based on the Tannehill trade, I would offer a 4th contingent on how much of his salary Miami is willing to absorb. If they ate 5+M I might even be willing to upgrade the pick
