Same here, but getting rid of Ware just to sign Allen would seem nuts. Then there's the fact that Allen HATES Dallas.

Pardon my french, but I would suck a dick for Jared Allen to be a Cowboy. As much as I love Ware, Allen brings more to the table. He gets a lot of pressures even when he isn't "sacking" the QB. He has a higher motor and would bring much needed leadership to this team.

I'm wondering if Allen is going to be one of the guys Oakland goes after with all that available cash they have. It would be kinda cool if they went after him and Ware, just to see those two play together, but I doubt that happens.

In that case, Denver might be a player. They need help on that side of the ball, they run a 4-3, they have money to spend, they just went to the SB, and I'm sure he'd be cool with Manning.

I still wonder if Ware would be smarter to go to a team that runs a 3-4? It would be geeat to get Allen. I think he fits a 4-3 better than Ware did

I think Shaun Phillips is an interesting guy at DE as well, along with Willie Young from the Lions. We're gonna need someone who can rush the QB. I think Wesley Woodyard at LB, and Walter Thurmond at CB would be great adds also

Ayers is a good run stuffer. As a pass rusher, he has less sacks in his career(12) than Ware would have in a decent season, and his career high 5.5 is less than Ware had last season in an injury filled year. Still, he's under 30(29 when season begins), and if we can get him cheaply, he would likely start
