I know I'll watch for nothing more than the injuries...between that and covid, I can almost write this season's offseason story line and I try like hell to see the glass half full with regards to the Jerry curse

Under new return-to-play protocols adopted in December, NFL players who are vaccinated and asymptomatic can return to practice and games based on a measure of their viral load, known as the cycle threshold, or CT. That testing can begin as soon as one day after the initial positive.

Well well well...what star player misses a playoff game because he never was vaccinated.

Jarwin blocks better than Schultz.

Jarwin is a horrible blocker. The main reason Schultz got on the field a couple of years ago (before he came into his own as a receiver) in single TE sets was because he was a much better blocker than Jarwin. This doesn't mean Schultz is a good blocker because he isn't, just better than Jarwin who doesn't block at all. I was disappointed in the offseason that we lost Bell and didn't replace him with a good blocking TE. They are a dime a dozen in the offseason but you have to go get one and not assume you'll make do with what you have.

I'm a big believer in the "any given Sunday" theory, but I see little chance for playoff advancement with this team. I don't know what happened to Dak and the Offense (maybe the injury?) but other than a game against a decimated WFT the Offense hasn't been good and Dak's accuracy and decision making have been poor and it's not because of the OL lately. Tonight may be almost meaningless in the standings, but IMO it isn't meaningless for Dak's confidence. We need to right the ship and time is running out to do so. If it's because of injury Dak needs to sit (although it may be too late for that) and if it isn't because of injury he needs the snaps to get back to where he was. I don't think Moore's play calling has been any good lately either, but I also don't think that is the reason for our slump.

I think a confidence boosting performance tonight for the Offense and a home game next week on a fast turf is our best chance to win a post season game or two

I know what you mean, but it's really true about 75 to 80% of this weekends games. We don't know who worth a damn is playing or what teams really give a shit about winning. This week is worse than the final pre-season games.
