- in San Jose, a dead duck was thrown on the ice. an actual dead duck.
Funny, but I really hope this doesn't catch on.
I suspect Owen Nolan.
- For the first time in 15 games, LA scored more than 2 goals.
no team had gone 15 games without doing that since the 30's.
So congrats to them.
and one from Minny
- Cal Clutterbuck's goal with 8:00 left in the 2nd period was Minnesota's first with the score-tied at even strength in eight games.
