Yeah this game was really telling of what players thought of Hackett. Definitely didn’t run through a brick wall for him. The team lost 51-14 to a bad team got into a fight on the sidelines and another guy committed two 15 yard penalty’s followed by punching his opponent after the game. Merry Christmas Mr. Hackett.

Gregory is another Paton guy.

This is the problem with the affable “I’m your bro” type coach. The inmates ultimately end up running the asylum. Hackett was probably good at chasing down shrooms for Rodgers, but clearly not a mastermind.
Every team I’ve ever been around shows improvement over the course of the season campaign. This team was an insufferable Groundhog Day.

I guess ultimately, this is less expensive than firing Russ Wilson. We will have to wait and see how that goes.

I don't think that's it at all. I think he lost the team finally. Not to mention the offense he wants to run doesn't mesh with what Wilson is apparently capable of doing.

Lots of people at fault for this decision, but Ultimately Hackett bears the brunt of it.
