short answer is yes if everything was perfect and no injuries . but alas injuries do happen and that is why i have us improved but at 6-10 .

once our young guys get some time in and we can get another solid draft in i think then you will start to see something .

Well operation comfy hug was a dismal failure last year. So hopefully operation head out of ass will have better results.

You actually believe that the Redskins have had the "talent to win games" for the last 5 years except for the QB position? What are you smoking?

Did you not witness the terrible pass rush, poor secondary, lack of return game, poor pass protection, etc for most of the last 5 years? I believe that the current FO has made strides to improve the team in all of these areas. However - there is still a long ways to go & this will take a few more years to get this rt if all goes as planned. People need to be more realistic & temper their expectations.

I basically agree. I am not stating that either RG3 or Cousins won't have a very good season, but I don't see this as a given for either. If this team is slightly better then average but showing signs of improvement I will be relatively happy (of course I will bitch @ the team like most of us). As I posted elsewhere - I see the QB position as gravy & believe that this team can succeed in the near future even if both QBs don't improve. Should be fun to watch.

Are you serious? You just ignore the fact that the Redskins averaged less than 5 wins a season during the other 4 seasons? You believe that RG3 & other QBs were the only reason why those teams were horrible? Give me a break.

You also seem to gloss over the fact that part of the success in 2012 was somewhat due to a gimmick offense that other teams figured out. Even with a productive RG3 or Cousins this team would have had problems & it is highly doubtful that they would have been a playoff team over that time even if the QB play was good.

Do you truly believe that QB is the only position that matters on a team or even on an offense? If your answer is no then you have to be more honest in your evaluation. Regardless of QB play - poor offensive & defensive line play, horrible coverage & weak ST play is going to result in poor records for most teams in this league. Like I said before they are addressing these issues at this time & they are doing so because the play in most of these areas in the recent past has been pathetic.

I am very hopeful the defense and the offensive line will show significant improvement. I think the team could be a poor mans Seattle this year and wind up over .500 if the stars align. Realistically, I would say 8-8 is a reasonable goal that is attainable if the players play well and the coaches coach well. A lot will hinge on the QB play but I am hoping the running game takes a lot of pressure off of whomever is deemed worthy of the starters role.

how many times in history have i seen a BU take over and do it i my lifetime ? i have seen morral do it twice , kilmer led the skins to a superbowl without being the starter opening day , any skins qb who has won a superbowl , dilfer and johnson have . flacco too so sure it helps if you have a great qb but it can be done without one

now the game goes in cycles but you arent telling me wilson was the driving force behind the super bowl wins . i bet the defense and lynch had something to do with it same with kaep, big ben certainly didnt do it as a rookie
