But Russell was a crazy good defender with incredible hops. There would be nothing easy at the rim but the Bulls overall team speed and athleticism would probably be the difference.

Absolutely - they were good enough to win, but the league was really soft in Jordan's era
Jordan Bulls would have probably killed the Russell Celtics. Who would have been able to stay with Pippen or Jordan?

Actually it was 11 in 13 years, and 8 in a row... and the "Celtics" won those Championships, not Russell.

Different times though. The league is way more advanced now than it was in the 60s. The Bulls and probably almost all the 90s teams would beat any great team in the 50s-60s.
