Yeah I spent time living nearby while in college. Hyattsville is so much better now and far safer.

That is true. My brother was doing some side work for a woman who's father bought a bunch of houses in PG County and rents them out. One house he was working on that he liked he asked could he rent it and she agreed. It's between Route 50 and MLK Jr Blvd. The neighborhood isn't bad but like any place there are pockets that aren't so good. It's very close to Northwest Stadium and where Ray Leonard grew up if y'all are familiar.

No matter where you go anymore has bad spots. I am taking my concealed carry next month. Too many violent nuts with guns around these days.

BTW my brother and his Jamaican wife said we can come by anytime and he'll jerk some chicken for us. I told him what he does is his business we don't want to know.

Although we all want a new stadium and putting it in the RFK site is a great idea it will also be sad to see the original stadium demolished. There were so many good times there. In reality it is just wasting away though.
