both have been very good so far.

cordero has a 2.00 era in 18 innings of work at AA, 19 k's and just 4 walks. if he keeps it up, maybe the phils can have another 100 mph heater man to pitch the 8th in front of giles.

tirado has been dominating at A+ with a 0.56 era in 16 innings with 16 k's. unfortunately, he still has his control issues with 18 walks as well. still a great sign though since he's only 20 and does not give up many hits or homers.

18 walks in 16 innings? Of course he doesn't give up many hits or homers--the batters are afraid of him!
