Pretty good game.....I felt like these teams were even today but the 3 critical plays in the first half decided this game in addition to the clutch throw by Wilson on that 3rd and 3

Good luck the rest of the way

Thanks, good luck to you guys next year. I agree, 3 or 4 plays that decided the game. Both defenses stepped up today. Cam Jordan is an absolute beast. Love the hustle on this kid.:suds:

I agree. Your defense was stout and the offense got going in the 4th quarter. Just too many mistakes and too conservative early.

Good luck next year.

Great game...nearly had a heart attack there at the end of the game...it was like the Seahawks were trying to find ways to lose the game after the beast mode 31 yd td run

On the bright side at least you doubled up on your vcash bk

Respect to the Saints. They came prepared for battle, it just wasn't to be.

Sean Payton disappointed me today big time. For the most of the first 3 quarters (especially the first half) he acted like he had Andy Dalton as his QB. I understand you wanted to establish the run and be balanced but there is no excuse why Drew should only pass 8 times in the first half unless it is an absolute blizzard which it was not.

Agree with that. They were getting good chunks of yards but it looked like they were playing not to lose most of the 1st half. If Im a Saints fan, I want the ball in Brees hands. Essentially the Saints tried to be something they were not which is a ground and pound team. I think if they would have attacked more early like they did in the 2nd half this game could have been different.

After today's game, San Fran & Carolina should feel excited about their chances of winning in Seattle because Seattle pass offense is shit and both teams have a better run defense than the Saints so I wouldn't expect Lynch to run all over them.

Your ostensible congratulations in the thread title exemplify your character.

Anyway, most Saints fans seem to be a decent lot. I've seen genuine congrats from several of them, and it's been very nice.

Thanks, Saints fans!

Most of the Saints fans remind me of Seattle fans prior to the last couple of years. Decent folks who are rabid fans of their team, but worry a bit too much about not getting respect or credit upfront. Kind of sad since they do have a ring that wasn't THAT long ago, but they all seem like reasonable people anyway.

Watching the game with no dog in the fight if you will... I think Payton is one of the best play callers in the game and was curious to see how he would approach the rematch.

Clearly SEA was prepared for Brees and the passing game with a focus on Graham...I think Payton was trying to get the SEA DL to respect some type of balance for what was in store later in the game...missing the FG & the fumble left them with nothing to show for it.
