I think playing Time Lord is a huge mistake. Horford kills the Sixers on offense and has a great feel for guarding Embiid.

For me, the difference is that Williams isn’t a jump shooting threat. It will be easier for Embiid to play the ideal role for the Sixers by hanging around the lane so he can protect the rim. With Embiid at the rim the Sixers don’t have to worry about leaving shooters to help on dribble drive.

Who knows. Maybe what Joe Mazz is looking for is to have a dunker that can be an outlet when Embiid comes off to challenge the shot.

You know what though? I would welcome this. This is a plan to get 2s and not 3s. I don’t think the Celtics can win without chucking up 50+ 3s and making 20 of them.

I guess, but I don't think foul trouble has been a major issue with Horford, has it? It does potentially keep him fresh for a fourth quarter surge. But it may also mean Boston falls behind, as I don't think it really helps them on either end of the court.
