Harden is not a pg

I don’t care what anyone says on that

Maxey should be running the offense

Harden can still be the guy without qbing the offense
I don’t want to get into titles but two things:
A. Harden’s experience as an offensive player makes him the only candidate on this team to run the offense.
B. Maxey is in a position to play make every night out but watch him drive. He doesn’t drive with his head up looking to make a play. He drives with his head down already having decided to finish at the rim. Look at the rim defense of him last night and the biggest reason he was 4-16. The defense knows they can come off their man because he’s already decided he isn’t passing. I don’t think your PG should be a guy who can’t play make.

Whoa.

New Jersey is the arm pit of America

That is one hill I will take many bullets to die on
The Dirty Jers is a compelling submission.

Yeah if he’s regressed in that area that’s something else.

I always remember what a scout said after the Darius miles to CLe trade

How he was gonna have to carry more offense and not develop as a well rounded player

And then how mcgrady was able tj do that cause of the supporting cast in tor

Maxey seems tj have fallen into that after the Simmons standoff where he needed to be make offense rather Than be a full on creator pg

It was the acquisition of Harden that took him off the ball. Maxey works (successfully) adding to his game better than any young Sixer I’ve seen in some time. I’m not saying he can never be a play maker but he doesn’t have that yet. He needs to work on that aspect of his game as well as finding a style of play he can employ for him to make an impact defensively. He’s always going to be hunted because of his size and he’s not a great on the ball defender. But he can get out in passing lanes. He can chase a guy through screens. He needs to find something that works for him.

Maxes is 6-3 with a 6-7.75 wingspan.

He is not small for a pg at all.

With that length he should be able to handle some 2s as well.

But no one his size is guarding a Tatum

I think Maxey is an NBA 2-guard and a good one. He's not a creator but he is an elite finisher at the rim and has developed a pretty reliable perimeter shot. I think he has All-Star potential and he is by all accounts an exceptionally hard worker for a young player.

Need to hit jaylen with a forearm to the nose at the start of this one.

That kind of series. How bad do you want to win?

Yoh already stomped on the head of grant Williams for no reason…what else you want?
That looked painful but let’s not pretend Embiid tries to do that.

There was a lot of force behind that. He could’ve hopped on that other leg and avoided him imo

Meh, that talk was from the usual Philly morons. Neither play was dirty.

Embiid is a 280 pound (probably more like 300) guy who moves at the speed of a guard. When he hits the floor, or other people, it's violent.

Smart isn't dirty, he is just scrappy. If he was wearing Philly colors we would all love him, trust me.
And he might be a bit of an ass pushing other players buttons.

No offense but I don’t really give a fuck about anyone in that situation but Embiid’s right knee. If he has to step on a bitch’s head to protect his knee in the way he falls I’m opting for that 11 times out of 10.
