40mph winds and sideways rain will fuck with any QB. Doesn't matter if it's home field or not. It messed with both of them yesterday.

The Seahawks didn't go 13-3 this year because Wilson sucks.

I didn't say he sucks, I said he is the worst remaining QB in the playoffs and his play has regressed as the season has gone on this last month+

If the Patriots are getting respect as one of the best 4 teams, let's just say that they have the best coach of all time and the best qb of all time. They do not have a top 4 roster at all

If this past weekend showed anything, it's that the Seahawks are extremely difficult to beat in their house. The Super Bowl is not being played in Seattle and the weather is not going to be the best.

The 49ers were not intimidated by the physical crap that Carolina has dished out all season. Late hits and holding and cheap shots got called and the Panthers bar room tactics killed them. If I was the owner of the Panthers I'd have a long discussion with Ron Rivera about playing solid football next season and leave the "We're the toughest gang on the street" in the parking lot. The 49ers didn't get sucked into the garbage and just played their style of ball.....they won.

The Seahawks tend to get into the intimidation and tough guy stuff. If the 49ers do what they did in Carolina, Seattle will get penalized repeatedly, just like the Panthers and find themselves 24 points down with 5 minutes to play. These games are national and the audience is huge, the networks want football games, not testosterone contests. The refs will call the cheap shots.

As far as the Pts and Broncos games is concerned, the Patriots main focus will be to upset Manning's passing rythm. The Patriots defense has improved every week against the run and the linebackers are all young and fast. The Broncos have the best corps of receivers possibly ever assembled and they know where to go and how to get there. The Broncos biggest problem is going to be defense. This is not the run and gun 45 pass offense of the Patriots past. It's a three headed (sometime four headed) rushing attack lead by a 255 lb RB who also can return kickoffs and out run the defense. After he's pounded the defensive line for a quarter, in comes a 225 quick RB who can get outside faster than any RB in the playoffs. Just when the DL is starting to suck wind, the Patriots bring in a 200 lb lightning bolt with world class speed. LaBlount, Ridley, Vareen. When the defense is lagging, they bring in Boldento start the pounding all over again. Just when the safties and the corners are creeping up to stop that runnning offense, a little play action and it's a 45 yard pass.

The Broncos team know that this is not going to be easy. The Patriots know that this is not Brady v Manning, it's NE v Denver.

The Patriots crushed the Colts Saturday and Brady had less than 200 yards passing and NO TDs. They rushed for six TDs. The Broncos absolutely have to have Manning throwing touchdowns, they have all of their eggs in one basket..........better hope the basket holds up.

Finally........this is Manning's swan song. He loses against the Patriots in this game and you'll never be able to argue about his records or anything else......you'll be defending his losses in the post season. He loses this week and he'll retire.

Atrocious Oline play most of the year will do that to you as well.

No ifs ands or buts about it, if he wasn't as mobile as he is the sack numbers would be through the roof. Maybe he's a bit gun shy?

Either way, hopefully he gets the magic back this week, they're going to need him.

Yeah, as long as none of them fumble.

You're right, because it's not like the Broncos just won a game in which they featured the run heavily or anything like that. Nope, the Broncos have to throw it 50 times to have a chance.

Finally........this is Manning's swan song. He loses against the Patriots in this game and you'll never be able to argue about his records or anything else......you'll be defending his losses in the post season. He loses this week and he'll retire.

Hey look, it's another fortune teller! Let me let you in on a secret: whether the Broncos win or lose has no bearing on Manning's return next season. Manning's got an offseason physical, if he passes it he'll be back.

No AFC team stands a chance against the 49ers or Seahawks defense, nor has the defense to keep their point total low enough to win.

This year reminds me of the days of the 49ers-Cowboys rivalries, where the real Super Bowl was the NFC Championship.

I don't see any way the Broncos or Pats could beat either one of those teams.

Why am I wrong?

If SEA and or SF can play with the lead I tend to agree with you because the QBs won't be asked to do more than they're comfortable with. Running game stays intact, and they can pick and choose when to go downfield.

But, a turnover, a missed tackle goes for 6, etc. if either one of these teams get down by 2 possession in the 2nd half I would favor either AFC team to close the deal in the SB.

I agree with you, SEA & SF have the strongest DEF, but OFC are not up to the standard of DEN or NE...my point here is it's much closer than you think.

Sometimes I wonder if BigKen is just another Briz_almighty as they seem to speak and think exactly the same. Couple of things here BigKen/Briz 1) Broncos are not just a one horse team. Seems that you have forgotten that the Broncos and Patriots already played once this year and Peyton had one of his worst games of the season yet the Broncos almost won @ New England. The Broncos almost ran for 300 yards in that game and they just won a playoff game against San Diego by running the football up the middle. I mean they do have 2 running backs of their own that 1 had over a thousand yards rushing and over 10 touchdowns while the other has close to 700 yards on the season by himself and is averaging over the last 8 games over 5 yards a carry. Throw in the Broncos have one of the better OL's in the NFL in both the run and pass protection.

Defensively the Broncos just shut down what had been the best rushing team over the final 6 weeks of the season in the San Diego Chargers. So yes the Broncos should be worried about the Patriots run game but the Patriots should realize this isn't going to be as easy as it was against the Colts to run.

Finally your thoughts on Manning seem more like a hope than anything based in reality. He has already said that no matter what happens this season he is returning if his doctors say he is fine. Seems like after breaking almost every passing record there is that he is doing just fine.

Of the 4 remaining QB's. I think Wilson will have the least impact on the games outcome. Just had it off to Lynch and don't turn it over.

BigKen's called it Seahawks. The party is over for us. The fact we went 13-3 this year is a mirage.

LOL at Pats fans. Always the same schtick.

SeaHawks offense is too one dimensional. And their defense almost gave up the game yesterday.

Neither the Seahawks or 9ers can match the Broncos offensively and their defense will only slow them down but not stop them.

Only thing that can beat the Broncos is mistakes. Broncos have lost 3 games by no more than 7 points in games where they were on the minus side of turnovers.

Chargers had the best post season D rankings going in to tonight and got dominated on both sides of the ball.

Broncos ran the ball effectively, stopped the run, sacked Rivers 4 times and Manning drew them offsides 5 times.

8 points.

Top two highest scoring offenses in NFL history had a combined 22 points in the Super Bowl ('13 Broncos and '07 Pats).

DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS. PROVEN ONCE AGAIN.

I think my Bolts are just a few players away from competing for an AFC title.

They're nowhere close to Seattle or SF. Defenses are just ridiculous. SF probably beats Denver by 35 as well.

You never know, but many of us were saying mid season that KC was not a great D,people said we were just stupid 12th man.

We said Denver has not seen a great D,people doubted.

Well,look at what happened.
