No AFC team stands a chance against the 49ers or Seahawks defense, nor has the defense to keep their point total low enough to win.

This year reminds me of the days of the 49ers-Cowboys rivalries, where the real Super Bowl was the NFC Championship.

I don't see any way the Broncos or Pats could beat either one of those teams.

Why am I wrong?

Seattle and San Francisco won't rattle Manning or Brady, I'm sorry.

And if it happens to be the Patriots, just remember, Bill could be the best coach of all time.

"Don't stand a chance" Lol!

New Orleans isn't better than San Diego or Indy and kept the Seattle game close.

If you're judging solely off the divisional games I don't see why Seattle would be a favorite against either AFC team. San Fran did look impressive, but impressive enough to be a heavy favorite in a Super Bowl matchup?

Weather in NY in February
Turnovers
Penalties
Brady or Manning vs Kapernick or Wilson
2 of the highest scoring offenses in the NFL
Injuries

Theres gotta be more out there

SeaHawks offense is too one dimensional. And their defense almost gave up the game yesterday.

Neither the Seahawks or 9ers can match the Broncos offensively and their defense will only slow them down but not stop them.

Only thing that can beat the Broncos is mistakes. Broncos have lost 3 games by no more than 7 points in games where they were on the minus side of turnovers.

Chargers had the best post season D rankings going in to tonight and got dominated on both sides of the ball.

Broncos ran the ball effectively, stopped the run, sacked Rivers 4 times and Manning drew them offsides 5 times.

I disagree with the OP. The best 4 teams are in right now and everyone left has a legitimate shot at winning the Super Bowl.

When it comes down to one game, anything can happen. I do think that SEA and SF are the top two teams in the league.

I suspect that had your chargers been victorious today, there certainly would not have been a thread like this.

And it's funny because they would get shit stomped by either team (or NE) like Denver did to them.

Are you serious? Saints are better than both those teams by a mile.

I do believe that the Niners and Seahawks are the two best teams in football, and yeah, defense has a lot to do with it, but shit, whoever wins that slugfest will have to take on a team led by a legendary QB who has already won a Super Bowl or Super Bowls. It will be a tough game no matter what the matchup is.

Here are is my honest opinion of the final 4 teams....

Hottest team- 49ers
Most Impressive team (playoff wise)- 49ers or Patriots
Best offensive team- Denver
Best defensive team- Seahawks
Most balanced team- 49ers
Best coached team- Patriots or 49ers

Seattle and Denver seem shaky right now. Peyton is known to choke, and really don't think John Fox is that great of a coach. I think Denver is good because Manning and the weapons they have. Seattle hasn't been winning @ home convincingly lately either.

I think 49ers and Patriots win this week, that's just my gut feeling.

I'm really impressed by the Patriots ability to plug in guys after starters get hurt, and the team just keeps going like nothing happened. Must be good drafting and good coaching.

the 9ers are in the bottom 3rd in the league in offense...how does that make then the "most balanced" or best coached ? seems like you have the homer glasses on is what you have...now the Saints ARE probably better than the 9ers...had those two played instead of saints/seattle, we wouldnt even be talking about the 9ers right now.

Or....

Offense order
1. Denver
2. Pats
3. 49ers
4. Seattle

Defense order
1. Seattle
2. 49ers
3. Pats
4. Denver

And I feel 49ers are more balanced in terms than Pats....

As for coaching....
Pats/Niners have made conference championship game last 3 years straight. Thus Coaching edge

think again..the 9ers are significantly dead last in offense..and its not even close.....I'm not convinced your D is that hot either

I thought so too........until yesterday

Well did you know that Graham has been hobbled? Do you think Indy would have won in the dome? Ntm the saints played better in New England in reg season when Graham was being blanketed. The colts couldnt stop a blowout. The saints defense is better than Indy's. You do realize stupid that it was raining in the first half and in the second half Brees was throwing with ease before penalties piled up. The saints score at least 24 in Indy and San Diego both so keep talking.
You just want to find a reason to not include the saints in the elite party. The saints are elite sorry. When they draft Benjamin people will shut up then who you gonna stop between Graham, Colston, Benjamin, and Hill? Enjoy because the saints will have 2 rings before Brees retires.
