wow. MM and Hurney are staying on for now.
We need a new coaching poll. The one I put up is outdated.Poll coming out!
It is the smart way to go in this draft. It’s a good draft for talent. Get as many picks as you can, especially if you are in a rebuild where you need play makers across the board. And this is why I like trading down and adding firsts the following season.
EB is not the guy. Apparently there was a full on revolt from the offense over Eric. I realize that many believe the players that griped about Eric were complaining because eric was holding them accountable. But when the entire offense trashes the guy as they leave, something is amiss.
i,ve read he,s always had a quick fuse
Martindale has that Buddy Ryan thing going. He's a pressure-first DC, that believes in man-heavy coverage, and taking risks on defense. That doesn't fit with all HCs or offenses. It clearly didn't fit with the Giants HC/offense all that well.
Sam can play. There are a few things he needs to clean up in his game but he got thrown into the fire and did well. Got beat up, lost his confidence. It happens.
he is at least a viable BU
Essentially, Howell was a rookie playing behind one of the worst Olines in football. He made lots of mistakes and often held the ball too long, but the guy showed in several games against quality competition that he has the stuff to be a starting NFL QB. It might take a year or so and some development (and improvement on the Oline and more focus on the running game).

Having said that, I fully expect the Skins to take a QB at #2 overall. I'll be shocked if it's not Drake Maye.
