I agree it is soooo frustrating to see PHI, DAL & NY makes notable improvements, while the redskins seem to consider .500 better than winning a superbowl

Phi lost Javon Hargrove, Andre Dillard, Miles Sanders, Isaac Seumalo, TJ Edwards, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, Kylie White and Marcus Epps…all starters and big contributors. They signed Mariota and who?

How did Dallas and NY improve?

Absolutely stunned Washington is happy rolling with Howell and Brissett.....they been looking for a QB since Cousins.

Action Jackson makes a whole lot of sense. Especially, since they brought in Bienemy.
no cap this year , now next year .... also ownership changes will preclude any big deals

what part of roullier and larsen both had season ending injuries the last 2 yrs dean do you not get ? what part of gates having only played one full season escapes you ? i would rather rely on the TE's we have on this roster today to produce then thinking roullier, larsen and gates will stay healthy all 17 games

we dont know if any player will stay healthy for 17 games. Im not writing those guys off like you are. You want to rely on our current Te's but Thomas and #88 got hurt so according to you they can't be counted on. right?

Roullier can’t be relied upon to remain healthy.

Gates and Paul are the options at LG. Gates played G last season for the NYG.

Yes…TE is overrated. Kielce had 1338 yards. The next TE was Hockenson at 914 yards, then Andrews at 847. Top five TEs are getting about 750 yards…so yes it is an overrated position. If you have a dominant one though, it is a great mismatch…that is why I am not opposed to one at 16 if he is good enough. That being said, the position is overrated.

do you think Kincaid or Mayer are good enough to warrant the pick at 16?

Nobody is writing anybody off. You have to have contingencies. Logan Thomas can’t be relied upon. He has a history of injuries and is aging.

Nope but I could see Kincaid being the pick with EB running the O.

interesting. So with EB here it changes things? Kincaid looks like the better receiving Te and Mayer is better all around.

again a radical response by you , i didnt write anyone off . i look at the situation and decided that center is very vulnerable do to age and injury. my thoughts on thomas are he cant be relied on either but we have 3 young te's who can do the job . LT should be cut june one as should roullier

not radical, Im not cutting Roullier if healthy June 1. Thomas, im on the fence. Turner is unproven, Bates is a blocking TE and #88 showed some flashes. None of them showed that they can be a TE#1 in the league. I hope we draft one.

Obviously EB changes things. We already went out and got HIS RT. You seem to totally disregard Musgrave and Washington. I think the second round may be the place to find our TE with CB going round 1.

i am cutting him because his salary doesnt justify his play . and by that i mean availability. i am not against drafting a TE , we should but this is a deep class . there are 3 starting caliber centers . larsen is on a one yr deal . none of those TE's have shown they cant either

I Agree. Yes EB changes things. Others on here would flip if we dont take oline. very possible its CB then TE in the first 2 rounds. Musgrave and Wahington lasting to our pick in the 2nd round would be huge.

Yes and yes however, I don't think either goes that high. I feel a trade back for extra picks. We take TE with trade back slot or extra pick received. EB will get HIS TE.

How did Dallas and NY improve?

I wasn't even going to mention things regarding this current off-season but fair enough....PHI most certainly did lose key players, but look at who they added and re-signed. AJ Brown, Reddick...they brought back Bradberry, Slay and Kelce.
It appears they prepared for Hargrove leaving by drafting Davis out of Georgia.
In addition to going to the superbowl, i believe they have 2 first round picks this year. We've seen teams suffer the following year after making the superbowl. Even if that happens Philly has enough stability in the organization to bounce back. That's noteworthy improvement compared to the 'skins.
Dallas and NY have also improved.
For instance, since the start of the 2020's Dallas has done well in the draft, they hit on Diggs, Parsons, and even turned Tyler Biadasz into a pro bowler! They landed Brandin Cooks, and Gilmore, guys who will make strong impacts because they are surrounded by talent. They also won a playoff game. They clearly have improved. Finally, good ol rotten apple NY,
...Brian Daboll has done a great job maximizing a relatively weak offensive side of the team. They managed to make the playoffs and win, big improvement...and if they can turn back the clock with Waller, much like JAX did with Engram then thats one less issue that has to be addressed immediately.

Again in comparison to our NFC EAST brethren its frustrating to see them improve, win playoff games, build stronger rosters by simply using good sense and solid scouting. It was awesome to have 5 pro bowlers, and re-sign Payne, and get over the 7 win hump, but clearly we are getting outclassed, outcoached, etc

So PHI didn’t get better by resigning people that were already there. They lost a ton of starters who contributed significantly. They have the draft capital which is extremely impressive considering last year’s success but in no way do I see them as having gotten better.

Dallas added Gilmore and Cooks, true. They did lose McGovern and Schultz, both key starters. I do think they have gotten better but not as much as you think.

NYG added Waller but lost two starting OL in Gates and Feliciano, as well as starting safety Love. Is that really getting better?

I would say we improved more than everybody except maybe Dallas this offseason. Our problem, or more like question, is at QB. Our QB was so poor last season, I think our fans do not understand how good our team actually is.

How is anyone supposed to know how good this team is then?

We have had 6 straight non winning seasons right?

You forgot to mention the Oline was a massive problem last year as well. If QB was such a massive problem, and I agree to a point, why is rolling out a qb would could not even beat out a backup last year be the answer?

Nothing in Howells Dallas game last year screamed that he is a franchise qb. He very well could be, but how we know after 19 NFL passes? That being said, he did have an average game in his first start.

You could be right, but as long as Rivera is here, the team will hover around .500 or worse.

I still believe we are the cellar dwellers in the east. We have the worst head coach and worst starting qb at this time. Our new GM and HC will hopefully change that for us.

Oh yeah its too early to say anyone has gotten better for 2023-24.
I was saying as far as improvement, The other 3 teams are clearly making productive moves. As duke put it...we are getting left in the dust. Philly made it to the superbowl, Dallas got past the wildcard round, and NY won a playoff game. All valid improvements from the previous year. Its arguably because the other 3 teams are starting to do almost everything right. Culture, coaching, drafting.
Would you go further in explaining how we are most improved in your opinion?
Also in addition to QB, would you not agree LB is also a serious issue?

I totally agree we have a good team, and some fans are sleeping on that.
