I can't say that. He's a great player but he isn't "no contest" better than any of those guys
Like I said earlier, ring count in the end when he finally hangs 'em up. Let's face it, it ain't entirely fair, but it's how folks will look at it in the end...

I mean, I disagree, it's certainly a debate I just have Mahomes as #1 on the list. No issue with the other side of the argument

I'm personally a bit worried Mahomes' style is going to break down in a couple of years. Coupled with Kelce retiring....I dont think Mahomes will ever have the numbers to challenge Brady.

Mahomes' prime, though, might go unmatched
Yeah Brady will always have longevity domination over any GOAT level QB. It's LeBron (longevity) vs Jordan (peak) all over again.

He's up there. When he hangs them up he may well be the best. Let me spin it a different way...lets say Patrick wins 2 more and gets to 5 Championships plus all the other accolades he will receive. But lets say it happened 30 years ago. Now let's say Brady was doing his thing today, and on his way to winning 7...is there anyway Brady wouldn't be looked at as surpassing Mahomes? Kind of like reversing the MJ/LBJ comparison. If LBJ had his same career 30 years ago, and MJ were in the process of completing his second 3 peat to have 5 rings, is anyone today making a case for LBJ? Your argument about Mahomes is fair and possibly accurate, but I think to many times folks today are to quick to proclaim modern players as GOATS

Wow.

Thought this Lions team was the best in the league this year.

521 yards of offense and 30 first downs and still get smoked at home in the playoffs. Yikes.

If I had to build a team around one Prime QB.
It would be Manning. But I have no problem with the Mahomes argument either.

And then…there were none. NFC north was looking dominate in the regular season but turned out to be smoke and mirrors in the playoffs. Just goes to show you that the number 1 seed doesn’t mean shit unless you’re the chiefs cuz then you have home field and the refs on your side.

Prediction: The Chiefs win their 3rd Lombardi in a row because that is what the NFL wants. Book it!

I think the opposite effect is stronger, older fans always overvalue the ones they saw in their youth, and it's pretty human to do that. We all love things from when we were younger and had our whole life in front of us and sports MATTERED.

What makes Brady vs Mahomes interesting is it's not 2 different eras they were both in the same era of football, Brady there first but plenty of overlap.

Yeah, except...I didn't like MJ. I always rooted for the Knicks and Pacers against them. But I know he was the most dominant player I've ever seen, certainly better than LBJ. If you want to argue longevity for LBJ, Heck yeah, but better? No shot. My favorite NFL QB was Marino, but I don't put him in the GOAT convo. That was Montana(was not a fan) then Brady(was not a fan. I can tell you, there are players today that are in the GOAT convo, but to say LBJ is better than MJ, Mahomes is better than Brady, Tiger is better than Jack or Ohtani is better than Bonds or Ruth? Nah. Maybe. But definitely? No

I thought the Eagles fans were douches, but after the hate I've seen from Rams fans, I hope the Eagles curb stomp them.
The Lions fan on here are a good bunch, now on Twitter that got some bad people.

LeBron is going to have better stats than Jordan only because he played a lot longer. Jordan got bored with basketball after a threepeat to try baseball only to come back to 3 peat again. Only situation similar is baseball players leaving to go go fight a war.

I think the Eagles would have to lose their minds and let Hurts throw it 40 times tomorrow for them to lose. As long as they pound the rock I don't think the Rams will have an answer

Rams unfortunately were dealt a bad hand with the fires going on and have to play a home game in Arizona than go back home to deal with the realities of the fires and turn around and fly across the country in 6 days. But if they win tomorrow, nothing against Washington but you have to like their chances.

WR depth is pretty good this draft, and the Skins could use it. Also IOL conversions (from OT to IOL). DL is meh. They're in a good spot. Not a lot of star talent in this draft (future AP/PB potential) but some solid starters they can fill in around Daniels and the D. It'll be interesting to see what Wagner does. The ILB class is VERY weak.
But, they have a shit ton of cap space to use in FA....

Not sure if the Commies can keep this up vs. good defenses. Both Philly and the Rams miles better than the Bucs or banged up Lions. But damn, that was impressive and a lot of fun. It's truly great for the fans of a franchise that had to endure Dan Snyder for all those years. Sadly, the Lions fans have to be on the other side as they have also had a lot of lean years and this was supposed to be their time. But that's the game. No excuses, just got whooped an this given weekend. Congrats to Commie (Skins) fans. Ironic that this year and last year these two teams make it to the CG for the first time since 91 when they played each other.
