also as it touches on larrson at the end of the story would also like to point out while he has been better lately. being taken at #4 i would hope he would be more then a shut down top 4-6 d man and maybe a top 1

For me Larrson has been a disappointment due to draft selection and impact... still learning i guess...

but he and gelinas are playing well together

yeah they have been playing better lately.

still to have gelinas come in and look better then the #4 pick is kinda sad.

time will tell but so far not looking good for larrson. just looking at the kid when he was drafted i never would've guessed he was a hockey player lol

You think Gelinas being in Albany as long as he was is the difference? There he can log a ton of ice time, gain confidence and be the best player on the ice. Compared to Larsson being thrown to the fire, healthy scratched multiple nights, not being able to find his footing. Time will tell where their ceilings are but I have to wonder if Larsson has been mishandled.

such a freaking shame.....man i wish edmonton took larrson at #1.

hell at this point i would deal him to edmonton try and grab either a pick or one of their forwards. i might even be willing to take a flyer on yakapov if they would do it.

Zids price tag will never be higher..I like the guy more then most but considering his age and considering defense is our strength in the future it makes too much sense not to get something for him.

If Larsson and Merrill show that they belong by the time the deadline rolls around it could make him very expendable.

Totally agree with this but its doubtful unless we are "out of it".
