PPP's doing their top 25 U25 Leafs and they're into the top 10 where you start getting the first/second rounders and guys already in the league and have gone through the lower-rungs.

Now that Dubas has had 4 draft classes it's kind of hard to ignore that like everybody since Burke he has been unable to do jack shit with the later round picks. 18 and 19 drafts look like you're only going to get at most 1 regular NHLer out of it max after round 2. May have gotten lucky in 2020 with the two Finns but 1) he also traded away the Seth Jarvis pick to clear space to re-sign Marner to an insane contract when he should've told Marner to fuck off, and 2) everybody else below the 2 Finns don't look like much at this point either. He had so few picks in 2021 and 2022 that if he can even get one NHLer out of those two drafts it would be a miracle (for all the hype it doesn't sound like Knies looked great at the WJC, although that tournament doesn't mean shit to me long-term).

Meanwhile, this year a 4th round pick will break out of nowhere for Ottawa with 70 pts, the Lightning will make a waiver claim who's a 2nd pair d-man in a matter of months and the Wings will find a goalie in Bulgaria who goes on a 30 game heater with a .930 sv% to get them into the playoffs.
