Am I the only one who doesn’t see anything wrong with this? Auston goes for the easy call and doesn’t get it.

It's still a penalty, though. Yeah Auston tried to sell it but it doesn't change the fact that he was held.

Players probably wouldn’t flop as much if refs just called the fucking game.

Not flopping is becoming an active detriment. In the Jackets game against Boston Voracek was breaking in on an empty net. He got hooked so bad he almost fell backward. but he fought through it. He lost the puck and Boston came back and scored to tie it and won in OT.

And it's like the third call he hasn't gotten because he fights through. He got tossed from a game late for letting the ref know about it.

He’s been getting “net front battle” for five years and getting dick all for calls.

NHL says they’re cracking down on cross checks but calls fuck all in a high profile game like that. He took three and gave one bad one back (because he’s not exactly a guy who dishes these out regularly) and it goes bad. I don’t feel too bad. Call the game.
