Well, the key difference you see is that he was penalized. There's an argument for supplimental disc. but I've given up at this point in arguing what does and doesn't deserve that but at least that shit was called.

I can certainly understand if Leafs fans are upset, I don't think Tkachuk really put up much of an effort to stop himself from falling on Campbell. Only he knows if he meant to fall on Campbell, but he's certainly not going to get the benefit of the doubt based on prior history.

There was talk about that if Tkachuk refused to fight Simmonds on the basis of it not being like-for-like talent-wise but the Leafs are so thin at forward right now they can't risk losing another due to suspension. And TBF I'm not sure they'll even bother trying for a fight. It's just not worth it, especially if Campbell is as okay as he said he was.

Im no Bogosian fan but there’s very little separating him and Dermott. Leafs just have the depth and there’s no reason to lose it - just so happens that this is the year where the blue line is the only totally healthy place on the ice for Toronto.
