Yeah my guess is Dell is a goner but I don’t think he drops far enough to Edmonton. NJ or Chicago is my guess.

Care to simplify? May not have to do with the deadline specifically but from what I’ve seen keeping Robertson off LTIR is the best way to maximize the cap, somehow.

Right off the top, at the time he wrote this I don't believe that the team (or he) knew yet whether or not Robertson's injury was serious enough for LTIR in the first place, no? So he seems to be guessing at someone else's motive for doing something that might not be a thing.
