Hey Babs, next time you're defending a 1 goal lead late in the third period with the opposition goalie pulled maybe avoid throwing Hunwick and Polak on, hmm?

Hey!! Whatever Quenneville did there it worked.![]()
I liked this despite the fact you didn't include any Cherry quotes about his "useless Swedish goalie with the Rockies". Seemed like a great opportunity.
The icon for the "like" button should just be this image.![]()
Ya know if you ask ME, Stanley Cup coach and everything like that, the Sportshope or Hopla or whatever they're called over there should just make this a smiley. And that's all I"M GOING TO SAY ABOUT THAT!!

Leap year, doesn't count.Did you know that Hardy Astrom was the goalie that stopped the Habs 28 game unbeaten streak when he backstopped the Rangers to a 6-3 win on Feburary 29th, 1978?

Can't be the date, '78 wasn't a leap year.
Wikipedia is containing incorrect info, then.
Ray Hardy Åström (born 29 March 1951 in Luleå, Sweden) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender who played three seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New York Rangers and Colorado Rockies.
Due to his tendency for letting in shots taken from behind the blue line, Rockies head coach Don Cherry unceremoniously dubbed him "The Swedish Sieve."[1]
Åström was the first European goaltender to start an NHL game, when he played for the Rangers against the Montreal Canadiens on the 29th of February[dubious – discuss], 1978. Åström played brilliantly in the Rangers' 6-3 win, which also stopped Montreal's 28-game unbeaten streak.[2]
Maybe that's why it was flagged as dubious![]()
