Hell don’t get me wrong, I’m not asking for a World Series championship. I’m asking to play meaningful baseball games into September.

Even if they don’t make the playoffs at least be competitive and have a shot and not be 30 games out by the All-Star break

So true. I really wish they could be playing competitive baseball in August!
Even then, I really hope if competitive, they don't make some stupid deals like the Archer trade. Becasue we all know that was a smoke screen and we, the fans, don't need any more of that.

Well goal tending is a major issue with this team and being very old.

Let me note the honeymoon of McCutchen returning to the Pirates is already wearing off. If a LMAFO reunion does occur, I see the honeymoon lasting about a month.

I'm going to go against my nature and be very optimistic about the Pirates this year.

My prediction for this year will be a lofty 83-79 record
