Yep. That one was a classic. The second and third seasons weren't as good.

Yeah I tried to watch the 2nd season and gave up a few episodes in

I watched the 2nd season, and it got better as it went along, especially after one of the contestants figured it out and played along with the actors.

I swear I read the last time the Pirates had the top record at anytime (after 20 games in a season) in the NL was 1992.
Not sure if that is true but sounds very reasonable.
