And they still suck.Flightless turds
I could swear you are talking about Tom Izzos careerThe Penguins are officially the NHL equivalent of that person who won the lottery 20 years ago who mismanaged there money and now officially broke and living in the gutter.
You midget birds won 3 Cups. You didn't blow the lottery winnings if you invested in Google, Amazon and Netflix at the ground floor and get to live out your final years in a suite at San Ysidro Ranch. The Penguins are officially the NHL equivalent of that person who won the lottery 20 years ago who mismanaged there money and now officially broke and living in the gutter.
We also have the Pirates to fall back on. 43 years no WS, 4 playoff series losses, no series wins.As stated previously, it's difficult to have much sympathy for the current Penguins plight. At least you have multiple Stanley Cups within the past 15 years to fall back on. Get back to me when your team hasn't won a Cup in over 30 years and aside from 2004 has won a grand total of two playoff series since 1989.

There really isn't any American city at this point that can waaah about lack of title success unless they're one of the smaller markets with only one or two major league teams like Portland or San Diego. Cities with 3 or 4 franchises have pretty much all seen success the past 20 years at some point.I'll counter with the Steelers, one of the most successful NFL franchises when you consider Super Bowl victories and fan following, yeah they haven't been that good the last few years, but overall they've provided their fans with lots of great memories.

Maybe Phoenix but nobody there gives a shit anyway.
Ehhh that is the point. There is no reason this team should be in this mess right now. He was handed a silver platter and made it into a joke.As stated previously, it's difficult to have much sympathy for the current Penguins plight. Think of it this way. The Penguins won the highest paid out powerball ever and blew all their money recently. You midget birds won 3 Cups. You didn't blow the lottery winnings if you invested in Google, Amazon and Netflix at the ground floor and get to live out your final years in a suite at San Ysidro Ranch.
THIS is what mismanaging the lottery money looks like:

Jesus that's sad.Think of it this way. The Penguins won the highest paid out powerball ever and blew all their money recently.
The Leafs are Jack Whittaker -> Jack Whittaker (lottery winner) - Wikipedia
Fair. I have no idea how the T-Wolves haven't figured it out yet.Minneapolis / St. Paul would like a word
Buffalo really hasn't been the bastion of success for 2 major sport cities either. There really isn't any American city at this point that can waaah about lack of title success unless they're one of the smaller markets with only one or two major league teams like Portland or San Diego. Buffalo, Charlotte, Nashville, Cincy...Buffalo really hasn't been the bastion of success for 2 major sport cities either.
