I remember when some peeps were pointing to Scriv as the goaltending solution/saviour for the cOilers when the trade happened and pointed to that artificially inflated save % ( ... that he put up with the Kings)

what happens? the career sample size gets larger and lo and behold the save % is now heading towards the crapper

0.910 career save % for Scrivens as a cOiler now

yah the cOilers d system is a mess but he's give up some god awful goals so far this season (pre-season included)

I love him, he's got a great personality and he was great with Martin Jones when Quickie went down last year but he's struggled in Edmonton and part of it is on him

It would have been smart for the Oilers to try and get Jonas Hiller like the Flames did - goaltending can save teams asses especially if you have a mediocre defense - the goaltending certainly can't give the team confidence

Hiller has been pretty good this season, but Ramo has outplayed him thus far. I think Hiller gets the start tonight in Chicago (good luck Jonas).

We're still waiting for that BOLD MOVE from MacTavish. It takes a lot of people who don't seem to know what they're doing in management & player development to be this bad with so many high draft picks though. He certainly isn't the only one to blame.

His attitude after signing probably has a bit to do with it. He said essentially "eh, it's a job".
