Series notes
All-time: Oilers lead series 36-25-1 plus 4 ties
Last meeting: 10/9/11 @ Edmonton, Oilers won 2-1 in SO
Doob's view:
Pens have given up 10 goals in the past 2 games, so they need to tighten up defensively. With injuries to James Neal & Beau Bennett, we're going to see somewhat of a shakeup in the forward lines. Kobasew will be playing on the line with Geno & Joki, and Harry Zolnierczyk has been called up to play on the 3rd line with Jeffrey & Glass. Oilers are struggling to start the season, they're 1-4 with their only win coming in shootout against the Devils. Pens should win this one as long as they tighten up some on D.
Doob's pick: Pens win 4-2
