We're almost 100 minutes into the Oilers season and Corey Perry has the lone goal for Edmonton (and he didn't really score it, it was credited to him as Brodie put it into his own net),
They will probably crush the Flames 6-2 tonight, but that's fine, the young kids are getting some valuable experience that will pay dividends down the road.
Arm shoulda gone up when Perry pushed Darth Vladar's pad in the crease, play should have been called before the contact as the puck was on it's way.
Reading Edmonton fans complaining about the refs and saying the league hates Edmonton is fucking hilarious. They are also losing their shit over the offside callback. Man was like 3 feet offside.
With the departure of guys like Holloway, Foegele, McLeod, and Broberg on the backend, the Oilers lost some of their fastest guys on the team. Watching last night's game it was clearly evident to me that the Oilers were a step behind the Flames. If anything, more pressure has been put on McDavid and Draisaitl to lead the way.
