Justin Schultz needs some time in the AHL as well, that kid is getting slowly ruined at the NHL level.

Yeah I remember when he started out well and then has plummeted

all this weber to oilers talk is only coming from oilers fans/media ... isnt it?

why would the Preds send him away after already paying him $26 shmill in signing bonuses over 2 seasons?

and now preds will be getting all that cake from revenue sharing/new rogers contract

/ the fantasy was cuter when it was Weber to the canucks btw

Yeah, not likely anymore with all the dollars coming in from tv contracts and outdoor games - I guess Darnell Nurse better pan out then.

He looked horrible on Sunday night - not sure if the constant booing when he had the puck led to anything (you know Ducks fans can be brutal), but he couldn't complete a pass to save his life and looked just bad. I think a change of scenery would do him wonders (although he's been with the Oilers long enough so the culture of losing is already strong with this one).

I can imagine any goalie on the Isles going through the same misery right now.

And I don't really have to imagine it on the Sens this year. :L

Although I'll admit the boneheads like Cowen have started playing a lot better in the last 5-6 games.

The Isles can play okay defensively until the 3rd period. At that point the other team seems to find the net with ease. Especially in the final 2 to 3 minutes of the game.

not quite comedy, but Sam Gagner knows a thing or two about an accidental stick to the mush

TSNRyanRishaug: Eakins not in good spirits today, ripped into his team for messing up a drill, tossed a sharpie after re-explaining it.

With the Blues in town tonight, I doubt his mood will improve any.

Cause God knows the Leafs' defense is tight as a drum, right?

Toronto Shots against per game: 35.8

Edmonton Shots against per game: 31.4

He'd probably be happy to get a break

You know that's fair I shouldn't jump on reimer he's not as bad a goalie as I thought he would be in fact I'll give him pretty good status for this league but if he's n the cluster fuck that is Edmonton I'd feel real bad for him

Just watching the Oilers play makes me feel sorry sorry for their fans, but then I remember what assholes they were when they had decent teams.

From the moral victories department - at least nobody is worse than minus two for the Oilers tonight.
