Amazing what happens when he realizes he doesn't have to take himself out of position to chase hits. He played his game last night and really good things happened.

But the one who truly played "his game" was Bob. He looked awesome. Hartnell had a solid game as well.

28. The CHL/NCAA Cold War continued last week with two defections. Jeremy Bracco left Boston College for Kitchener, just before Warren Foegele departed New Hampshire for Kingston.


When this happens, you wonder if it is a trickle or the start of a flood. Looking into it, there are two names thrown around.


One is forward Luke Kunin, playing at Wisconsin with OHL rights owned by Sarnia. (Neither his family advisor nor the Sting responded to a request for comment.) Damien Cox mentioned Blue Jacket draftee Zach Werenski, whose OHL rights belong to London. That would be a major move, and a couple of scouts who saw him last weekend said the rumours are out there.

I haven't heard it here, but apparently there is a chance that Werenski bolts to London. Not sure I like it, because I already have tickets for the Buckeyes game(s) when Michigan is in town.

But damn, what a team that would be if he does it. Dvorak, Marner, Tkachuk, Jones, Juoveli, AND Werenski? Whoo.

Either he is officially out of ideas, or he watched my team's practice last night.



Drill was; entire team lines up across tops of the circles. Slap Shots. You score, you're good. Miss = ten pushups.

2 pushups for the goalie for each one that goes in. The competitive juices were out of control. The last round, the boy stoned 'em and stood in his crease slapping the stick on the ice and counting LOUDLY.

Was actually really fun.



Probably not what Fonzie is doing.
