You keep saying re-unite him with Lindholm, but you want that to happen in Columbus. There's another way to re-unite them :D
He has already established how he feels about Calgary with that one shift. :behindsofa:

I wonder if there is some kind of issue going on away from the rink. He looks distant and like he's not totally engaged which is odd for him. He hasn't been as forthcoming in post game interviews and stuff.

Had anyone checked if his house has a garage?

Did we stumble onto Trouba's kryptonite?

Voronkov lays Trouba out behind the net, Trouba goes back at him. Voronk just looks at him and Trouba skates away.

Wish the clip was longer to show it better

Ouch. Guy finished the game but his inability to catch up to Gaudreau was even more apparent last night. Get well, Jack.

The anti-CBJ factions at Ohio State are all gone. Maybe it will happen this time.

Sounds neat. I’m guessing it will be the Penguins and Blackhawks.
That depends on if the Penguins draft first overall or can trade for McDavid.

C’mon man. It’s bad enough the local team won’t get to play no need to rub it in by inviting a team from Michigan.
That was the point.

Plus a Sid hat trick in the 'Bus tonight is the cherry on top.

6 game losing streak and it's extremely frustrating because they are playing well, having comebacks and battling til the end just not getting it done.

The fanbase has jumped all over everyone from Johnny, to Elvis, to the coach to the FO.

Maybe it's time for a FO change. But the same question - who?

What exactly was the sign to people that the team was ready to be good though? This team’s forward corps is so young and inexperienced beyond Gaudreau and Jenner. The goalie has been sub-replacement level for years now. Defence is better on paper (has it been on ice?) but you kinda need the other two things to get anywhere.

The kool-aid drinkers were convinced that Fantilli was going to make the world forget about Bedard and all our other prospects were all world beaters, so anything less than 13-2 wins is a failure to them. And Jarmo keeps beating that "we're going to be in the playoffs" drum and serving new Kool-aid. They have the potential to be a wild card team (with some good fortune), but another week like this one and even that dream is over.

Realistically, they should be better, they are just south of "the hump". Elvis is playing well, considerably better than years past and Martin has had some bright spots, The D has been... mixed. Playing Vincent's system of giving up the outside makes them look better as far as high danger chances, but zone exits are bad because they keep looking for home-run passes and they keep getting picked off. The biggest problem on D is they need to trade two of Bean, Boqvist, Peeke or Gudbranson and there has been no movement. And you know Jarmo doesn't want to make another Bjorkstrand-esque panic move because it would surely be curtains. But it's creating a log jam and making it so there is no consistency. Werenski has played with every other D man except Provorov this season.

But we're losing one goal games and our Power Play is Mark Recchi bad. An average power play flips probably 4 of those losses. A slightly above average one probably two more.

Johnny is snakebitten and pushing hard. Looked solid last night with Sillinger and Bemstrom but still hit posts or had great chances blocked. He need a center to compliment him and Jenner isn't it. The fact that Jenner is not a bottom six guy is a huge red flag. Problem is, there isn't a top six center besides Fantilli in the organization. I don't know what the disconnect is between Vincent and Kent Johnson, either. He should have been back by now. And they've apparently decided Laine isn't a center anymore despite it showing signs of working.

Did I see a Friedman tweet that Bemstrom is on waivers today?

I did not want this to be true.

So we're gonna lose Foudy and Bemstrom in order to have that Missisippi fuckstick on the roster? Perfect.

I can only hope this means that Johnson is coming back.

On the plus side on paper Provorov has looked alright?
Was our top scorer (all assists) and has shown more toughness than I was expecting. Meshed perfectly with Jiricek. Him and Werenski have been a good 1-2 punch. Severson has struggled a bit more out of the gate but I still like the pickup. Maybe would have preferred less term on the deal, but whatever.

Wonder why Bemstrom isn't smiling? 2 to the right of rabbit ears/green hat (Tarasov). Between Boqvist and I guess Martin?

Edit: Also noticed that Olivier couldn't be arsed to be there. Everyone else on the active roster plus one guy on IR are there.

Unforced Error after Unforced Error. Kept Olivier and waived Bemstrom for TREY FIX-WOLANSKY instead of Kent Johnson?
