I watched the presser, and he looked genuinely hurt by it. He said that trade was "the best of the terrible options." so I guess all the other GMs were trying to add pieces or were still bitter about Jarmo fleecing them at some point. I would imagine some were trying to get Texier, Gavrikov or Marchenko.

Still wish he could have waited a bit to see how it shook out, but it is what it is.

So I guess here's the roster:

Chinakhov, Foudy, Danforth, Gaunce as fill ins. Jarmo said Texier is in great shape and will be back and that he was "our best forward" when he went out. He could be in that 1C slot. Also hoping SpeedyFoud gets a shot there. With those two wings, we pretty much just need some one who can win draws. Yogi and Boo Boo will take over from there.

Yep. He met his wife when playing for the Monsters and she's from Cleveland and that's where the wedding was.
