His wife just had their first child in his native Switzerland, and he went back to be there for it. Seems he decided he'd rather be there than here.

Not like he didn't have a career there, or was gonna be a 5+m player here. And once Kent Johnson and Marchenko get here late this year or next, he wasn't sticking around long term.
