Live shot of Torts' line combinations.

Sorry, I am being told this is a auto recycler lot near downtown.

Didn't show in my post, I guess. Just posted, since it's an OSU kid playing for the Monsters
It came through for me.

I watched the game last night, he looked great.

Bought tickets to 4 games. Only one was sold out (Blackhawks Saturday game) so far. Some others were getting scarce. Prices were normal prices.

Columbus' Hockey is for Everyone program is the beneficiary, and it closes 11PM tomorrow. Win money / give money to a great program.

I was in their equipment bank going over what is needed to fix their goalie gear last week. The money they get will not be wasted.

Both the girls in the video played for my team this year. The guy is one of my son's best friends. John is a hero.

The equipment bank is a fun place to hang out.

Dropped 7 of the last 8. and 5 in a row.

It's gotta be time. Even just a dead cat bounce might be enough to reverse it all.

I don't think Calgary is close enough to the US border for Torts :D

Let's hope this is the proverbial "vote of confidence'.

And now, the literal vote of confidence.

Not sure why Jarmo would have to address the team if he is so confident in the coaching staff. Unless it's to say "If you want to remain together, start winning. He'll be gone soon enough."

I guess he can't really say it but this season's pooched unless Chicago falls off a cliff. Get working the phones to move Savard and Foligno and start trying to figure out how the hell you can scout juniors. Leafs would probably give a pretty good Kerfoot-centric package for both.

Foligno is less likely to move than Jenner, IMO. But if we could get a real 1C for just Savard and Jenner, I'd do it in a second.

We really have to come to terms with the idea that either Jones or Werenski is going to be gone by next year. We pretty much have to move one of those guys to get the kind of C we need to contend (no disrespect to Kerfoot). Because Jarmo also has to realize that whoever he gets is going to be told to be a power forward by Torts and look like shit for a while. Domi is being wasted here. A more open system and I feel like Domi could grow. If nothing else he would grow at a better pace than he is as a 4th line grind winger. Anderson did less than nothing here, and he's actually reaching his potential now. At some point you have to stop blaming the player.

I understand if they want to keep Foligno (although I’d still just trade him now, get a return and re-sign him in that case).

But yeah, neither of those guys will get what Jarmo’s asking for and one of those other guys might and if that deal is available at the deadline you probably do it (but I don’t think it will be, especially with the Preds as sellers).

3 wins in their last 12.

But let's stop speculating about Torts. He once led us to a playoff series win you know. Have some respect.

I am going to make this kid play a role he is in no way prepared to play. Also, I am going to bitch when he doesn't do well at it.

Has there ever been a coach who has done less with more?

The thing with any good winger is you probably want a good center for him to play with and Columbus not only doesn’t have one but also has Torts doing some insane shit lol

Laine has been primarily the guy carrying the puck into the zone (and more often than not loses it). And Torts wants him to be more of a power forward.

Domi has been used as 4th line checking winger.

Riley Nash has been 1C.

It's only a matter of time before Elvis gets a few shifts on D with Jones.
