It came through for me.Didn't show in my post, I guess. Just posted, since it's an OSU kid playing for the Monsters
Dropped 7 of the last 8. and 5 in a row.
It's gotta be time. Even just a dead cat bounce might be enough to reverse it all.
And now, the literal vote of confidence.
Let's hope this is the proverbial "vote of confidence'.
I guess he can't really say it but this season's pooched unless Chicago falls off a cliff. Get working the phones to move Savard and Foligno and start trying to figure out how the hell you can scout juniors. Leafs would probably give a pretty good Kerfoot-centric package for both.
Kekalainen: Blue Jackets looking for a centre - TSN.ca
After honouring Pierre-Luc Dubois' trade request earlier this season, the Columbus Blue Jackets are once again in the market for a top-line centre, general manager Jarmo Kekalainen confirmed to The Athletic.www.tsn.ca
Well, no shit Sherlock. Part of the problem is one of the Centers you got is playing 4th line wing and the other you got noped teh fuck out of town after getting benched for no reason.
Foligno is less likely to move than Jenner, IMO. But if we could get a real 1C for just Savard and Jenner, I'd do it in a second.I guess he can't really say it but this season's pooched unless Chicago falls off a cliff. I understand if they want to keep Foligno (although I’d still just trade him now, get a return and re-sign him in that case).Foligno is less likely to move than Jenner, IMO. But if we could get a real 1C for just Savard and Jenner, I'd do it in a second.
We really have to come to terms with the idea that either Jones or Werenski is going to be gone by next year. We pretty much have to move one of those guys to get the kind of C we need to contend (no disrespect to Kerfoot). Because Jarmo also has to realize that whoever he gets is going to be told to be a power forward by Torts and look like shit for a while. Domi is being wasted here. A more open system and I feel like Domi could grow. If nothing else he would grow at a better pace than he is as a 4th line grind winger. Anderson did less than nothing here, and he's actually reaching his potential now. At some point you have to stop blaming the player.
Laine has been primarily the guy carrying the puck into the zone (and more often than not loses it). And Torts wants him to be more of a power forward. The thing with any good winger is you probably want a good center for him to play with and Columbus not only doesn’t have one but also has Torts doing some insane shit lol
