Yeah, I think I read no salary retained by the Canucks. Beauvillier was pretty bad with the Canucks, getting a 5th round pick is about right.

I’d rather them go for someone better. Bear’s fine for depth but shouldn’t be getting much more than a mil. Should leave Van plenty to get someone like Zadorov or whoever else comes available.

Bear is better than just depth, hes an every day player ... especially with the d currently on the roster. Better than Myers so he's a 4 and when Soucy comes back a 5 ... Soucy should be team mvp the way their defending has suffered since his injury lol
