Thinking the Sharks are getting a call soon from the league. They can't like the optics of one of their premier non-traditional markets getting fucking wrecked on the scoreboard on a regular basis.

The thing about downswings in team fortunes in weaker markets is that it does lower ticket prices and allow some fans who may not be able to buy tickets when they're more expensive to get to a game. They may not win but you do want to see them at least compete, show some fight. This isn't good for anybody.

They treated Bruce there it is quite poorly, but Tocchet has the lads playing a much more structured game.

Bruce had no system. Even when Tocchet coached the mediocre starless coyotes they could lock it down and they competed every game. Cant discount the presence of Adam Foote and Sergei Gonchar either. Thats an all star respect me or I will fuck you up coaching staff.

Zero accountability under Bruce. You look at the game v nashville where JT shits the bed for 5 minutes and tocchet ends up making him ride the bench for a period. Never happened with Bruce but should have. Stuff like this helps other guys buy into their roles.

Whats happening now looks sustainable … *fingers crossed*
