funniest part of being at the game last night (clapper was ok i guess) was after the timbits game during the first intermission, they asked the "star" of the game ... one of the goalies ... who the kids favorite player was ... he said Linden Vey and the fans still in there seats started booing lol

Which begs the question, where do the Canucks need more help, up front or on the backend? These days usually you go with BPA, but you just never know with Sir Bennington.

I think you can make arguments after the 4th or 5th pick that the best d-men (Chychrun and Juolevi) and best forwards (assuming Tkachuk goes 4th, Dubois, Nylander) are pretty interchangeable and capable of being considered BPA.

In Vancouver's case, I'd probably go D. If they're ever going to compete with the likes of LA, Anaheim, SJ and Calgary they need to at least come close to those teams' blue lines.

I'll say this, if Matthew Tkachuk is still available when BT walks up to the podium, I wouldn't mind hearing his name. Flames could use a player who is a bit of a jerk up front, too many nice guys currently.

so myopic from drunk uncle Pratt ... it was a head scratcher ... if we turn the tables (and not trying to compare players, just cities and their league scope in terms of coverage), what does he think they know about Ben Hutton in Philli ... probably the majority know zilch ... some flyers media and fans can say the same thing about the canucks "not being out there enough" that he said about about the flyers
