I'm not surprised by Daniel's take above, while the Canucks have improved their team speed this season, they are still not that fast of a team (especially on the backend, although Ben Hutton is a fine skater). Contrast that with the Flames who can throw out guys like Brodie, Hamilton, and Russell along with Johnny Hockey and it gives the opposing team a lot of trouble.

/Of course, I wish the Flames could win more games in regulation time.

This is kind of like a full team example of the McClement rule. When you don't score any goals it doesn't matter how well you prevent them, you're still gonna be in the hole.
