It's funny because I came across an Oilers fan recently saying RNH has a Sakic-like wrist shot.

/I wonder how many times Sakic was -4 in a game like RNH was in Carolina a couple of nights ago.

So the unofficial count is 13 times, or exactly once every 106 games. 7 of those were in his first three seasons, and there were two -6 games (here's the other one Quebec Nordiques at Washington Capitals Box Score, March 31, 1995 | Hockey-Reference.com).

Last week's game was only the second time the Nuge has done it in 282 career games. So he's got some work to do to catch up.
