I'll take #3 vs. #24 over #19 vs. #20 any day of the week, especially when one game has playoff ramifications and the other one doesn't and with the #3 team being on the road. And if they would have chosen FSU vs. NC State, that would have been the 3rd time in 5 weeks they went to an FSU game, and back to back FSU games. That was an extremely weak schedule that week. Also of note NC State had done nothing of substance to get to 4-0.

Utah was 6-1 and still in the Pac 12 south race so its not like their were NO playoff implications just outside ones.

Ole Miss was 7-0 heading into that game. Ranked #3 in the country. There was much more at stake in their game. There is just no other way around it. Add everything up and LSU vs Ole Miss was the better game.

Has anybody seen a game from the upper deck of Jerryworld? I have enough airline miles for a free trip to Dallas and two close friends live there, but I don't want to spend $100+ on a ticket if I'm just staring at the videoboard.

Even without the huge screens I end up watching them most of the time anyway at other stadiums. So I can only imagine it would be even worse there.

But I'm probably the worst person to ask. I'd rather watch a game at home in front of the TV and only only going to games live for the party.

If you are talking about the "standing room" in the End Zone, and if you do not get there REALLY early to get right on the rail, you are barely going to be able to see anything directly... and you're standing for 4+ hours

They return 8 starters on offense, 7 on defense, and they picked up John Chavis at DC from LSU so the defense should improve from last year schematically as well.

Maybe not, but ESPN does love to come to Sundance Square. They have done a great deal of their shows when Jerry World is involved such as a Superbowl, NC game, final four and game days.

Compared to Arizona State who lilchi doesn't see beating A&M with 7 on offense and 9 on defense. and they have the same coaches so are already set and sound schematically.
Not that either team was really good on defense last year. 102 for A&M and 81 for Arizona State.
