Luke Fickell (former player, former assistant, former interim HC) who wasn't good enough for Ohio State is do a hell of a job at Cincinnati.

I saw a video on weekday practices at Cincinnati and they are run like a military boot camp. I mean if any player makes a slight mistake he has a lot of extra laps to run after practice is over. This must pay off on Saturdays because they are very disciplined.

I think Ridder made himself some money today, if he keeps this up, his draft stock will skyrocket.
Don't know enough about him to hope he lands here.

He sure made the photo opps after the game running around the field with the huge college flag letting everyone know who won the game. I don't blame him though because beating Notre Dame was the biggest win in the history of their program.

I didn't see him doing that. He did a little more posing during the game than I like.

Like dad, I saw him last year and thought there was some potential. I believe he contemplated coming out but decided to return. I like him but agree that I am not sure he is first round material ... yet. One TD pass today was funny, it was like a pop in baseball but the receiver made a great adjustment and the DB never figured out where the ball was. All that said he played well in a HUGE game for them.

I don't know what your plans are for Saturday but I thought I would give you a heads up in case you want to watch the Penn State at Iowa game live. It's on Fox and it starts at 4:00PM.

I'll be in front of my TV. Kind of nervous about this one. Nittany Lions have not run the ball well all year.

I'd like to catch a Pitt game too so I can see their QB.

Penn State and Iowa are both ranked in the nation's top 5 at the moment so on paper it appears to be a great matchup. Let's hope it turns out that way on the field.

Like I said a few weeks ago Maryland's fortunes would likely change once they met the big boys. Looks like they are inline to get trounced for the 2nd game in a row.

Yeah, the big boys can change everything when our favorite teams that haven't grown up to be big boys yet have to play them sometimes. Maryland has nothing to be ashamed of because most teams get blown away trying to beat Ohio State in the horse shoe.

Now Penn State qualifies as a big boy but the only problem is they are playing another big boy today at 4:00PM. I'm looking forward to watching that one.
