What kind of pipe you using auto ? You need a special tool and it takes some getting used to the process involved.but if you to it right I will swear by pervex.It's better than the copper piping and lasts forever.Just gotta make sure you do it right and the joints are sealed

I had to use CPVC and galvinized steel. I would have done it all completely different if I was changing all the pipes, but I just had to replace the transition from metal to plastic and change a couple couplings and elbows.

I shouldn't sub out all my plumbing jobs, I'm a better plumber than I give myself credit for. My wife even said I had the plumbers ass crack thing going on today too...
