Unfortunately those outcomes were expected, GA, FL and TX Governor races really were a mirage.

GA really wasn’t that blue to begin with so I expect Walker to win that senate race. And I hate to say I laughed at people who truly thought Greene would lose here house seat.

That whole bill was BS. They called it "election security" which got everyone riled up. The big provision in it was to prevent first time voters from voting in primaries. Because Republicans were afraid of young people choosing their candidate for them. Ohio allows you to vote in whichever primary you want, not for the party you are registered as. You rock up and say which primary ballot you want. And it's why Trump got squashed by Kasich in Ohio primaries because people figured out a way to vote against him twice. Republicans were scared of the carryover into Senate and Governor races. Non citizens are already not allowed to vote.


Not to mention the fact that the whole Ohio electoral map has been ruled unconstitutional 3 times and is still getting used. Every person in the house of representatives from Ohio is illegitimate. Conversely, it's why Tim Ryan ran for senate. Because his old district that he usually cleaned up in was divided up by the illegal map. REALLY hoping that he gets in and makes his next six years about killing gerrymandering nationally.

Speaking of gerrymandering in GA they merged two Democratic seats and gained one republican seat. This was going to happen since the state is still very deep red.

National races are not good, but no huge surprises. In some ways it might actually help in 2024, assuming some states will still actually have free elections.

Seriously if that number is true from the polling data stating that 88% of evangelicals voted for Walker over Warnock it shows how "christian" these people really are.
