The Conservatives have a great chance to seize power in the next federal election, will they mess it up?

He’s towing the correct line right now but the issue of surgeries and treatment for minors is going to come up and on that line there’s pretty good support for not allowing it - Angus Reid poll last month showed 63% of Canadians were against hormone therapy in children, didn’t have anything regarding surgery for minors but my guess is it’s probably even less in support.

So long as he doesn’t go full anti-alphabet he should be able to withstand the pressure when Trudeau inevitably tries to make it the biggest topic of the next election.

Usually pretty ambivalent about the outrages about costs for PM trips abroad like the stupid hotel bill in London during the Queen's funeral but this part is where I'm a little intrigued:
