A lot of the guys I work with who write detection rules for malware, intrusion detection and general badness are feeling the same way. But AI will never be able to do bug hunting, tuning or troubleshooting.

And any company that lets all their apps get developed by a machine that will develop everyone's apps the same way, with all the same vulnerabilities will get what they deserve.

AI Writes bad code. Companies deploy badcode. Hackers tell AI to exploit/break everyone running the same code. Everything comes crashing down.

Maybe not for a while, but I think lots of people across different fields will lose their jobs to AI. Can't wait until the rich call all the unemployed people lazy or claim they don't want to work.

Some countries will probably explore things like universal basic income but I cannot see that flying here.

Another "fun" thing will be when they make changes to social security and Medicare making people work longer....and there's lots less jobs.

What happened to the emphasis on personal responsibility and being unified against certain types of actions?
