in the years that I have had the basic understanding on politics whether Canadian or American I have always been Liberal and always will be. That being said I at one time respected the Conservatives in the past despite some of their views. This generation of Republicans and their followers are the most vile and despicable group I have seen in my time. Has it been like this since before Trump and Maga? What were these people like under previous Republican presidents? This is so discouraging.

I could understand their stance even if I disagreed. But when the country dared elect a black guy, so many lost their god damned minds. There is no policy or stance. Only hatred.

Before Obama, the Tea Party was a fringe group everyone laughed at. Now, they are the saner older brother of the current cop of fuck nuts.

I take exception to this, if he hadn't run for office he would STILL have falsified business records. But we'd only be prosecuting a failed reality TV star.

So weird. Treat a generation like shit, stop caring about what they want and they make you unemployed. You can't explain that.



Side note: Yesterday was one hell of a day to lose Internet and cable at home. Construction crew building a traffic circle in my neighborhood cut the main trunk for 3 different ISPs for the whole area. 15000 households and about 150 businesses lost Internet, Cable and Phone. We didn't get it back until 11:00. I had to watch the Jackets lose on my phone. Worse than that, I had to try and do my job from my phone. Not watching the lunacy unfold in real time probably helped my sanity a bit, though.
