Being married to a teacher and knowing dozens of other teachers I can say with absolute certainty that no teacher is going to run away from a student in a crisis situation to play Rambo. They are going to protect, and probably die protecting, their students. And having a gun or not having a gun plays no part in how they do that.

Never mind that a single glock in the hands of an untrained person in business casual clothes is not going to stand any kind of a fucking chance against an AR-15 in the hands of somebody in tactical gear they bought at Wars R Us.
